New academic series

It is our immense pleasure to officially introduce our new cooperation with outstanding institutions of education and culture in Poland. The spiritus movens of the whole enterprise is Prof. Piotr Chruszczewski, of the University of Wrocław, whose very own College for Interdisciplinary Studies stands behind the collaboration on the powerful series BEYOND LANGUAGE.

This series is tailored to a tenured, established interdisciplinary demographic: researchers and scholars in every discipline, extending the path of their Nobel laureate predecessors – grounded with one foot in centuries of world class contributions, and the other in cutting edge research and innovation. Beyond Language expands the world’s intellectual shipping lanes to future field discoveries.Logo of the series, whose first letters, B & L, are interwoven to form a sail setting off towards the new lands

We are pleased to publish scholarship deriving from the medieval idea of artes liberales adapted to modern use in order to meet the requirements and expectations of the contemporary world. Books in the Beyond Language series, published in joint cooperation with the Faculty of History, Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, and the Committee for Philology, Polish Academy of Sciences, Wrocław Branch, are meant to offer a fresh perspective on language-and-beyond-oriented research, going outside the box, and virtually beyond language, in order to grasp its intrinsic nature.
