The BEYOND LANGUAGE Conference is first in a series of international conferences bringing together especially driven fledgling researchers interested in challenging and interdisciplinary issues.

The more complex the issue is, the more interesting the knowledge to gain and the more intricate mechanisms to be discovered. The BEYOND LANGUAGE international conference series embraces this challenge, aiming at a fresh perspective that goes beyond purely one-dimensional research. The organizers are of the opinion that, in order to describe any issue worth studying — including language, literature, culture, democracy, or nationalism—one has to think outside the box and, fundamentally, go BEYOND. It is their hope that motivated young researchers will join them in this endeavor, with the forward searching nature of a conference series that sends masters and commanders of knowledge to seek out new frontiers. The organizers would like to welcome young scholars conducting research within the theoretical and analytical frameworks who examine linguistic intricacies of language and beyond, as well as those which explore the practical implications of such intersections.

Papers presented at the conference are planned to be published by Æ Academic as a separate monograph or/and as a special volume of the periodical Academic Journal of Modern Philology (Polish Academy of Sciences, Wrocław Branch & University of Wrocław).
