Anna Wojtyś Anna Wojtyś is an associate professor (Dr. habil.) at the Institute of English Studies, University of Warsaw, Poland. Her research interests include English historical linguistics, sociolinguistics, and varieties of English. She has published two monographs on English historical morphology as well as numerous articles mostly concerning various aspects of historical linguistics. She is an associate editor of Anglica: An International Journal of English Studies – the journal in literary, cultural and linguistic studies. In 2016 she made the first Polish translation of Shakespeare and Fletcher’s play “The Two Noble Kinsmen” (“Dwóch szlachetnych krewnych”), used for the Polish première of the play that took place in the Jan Dorman’s Theater in Będzin and published a year later in print by Hachette.
