Scott Flannigan, Lt. US Army, Ret.

Raised in Thornton, CO, Scott Flanigan considers himself blessed to be in the Flanigan family. Patriotism featured prominently in his upbringing, with numerous family members having served in the military, including a grandfather who answered his country’s call during World War II.

Following graduation from high school, Scott attended three almae maters in pursuit of a childhood dream of succeeding in collegiate athletics. When he realized that his path led to the military and the defense of this nation, after obtaining his undergraduate degree from Denver, CO, Scott was accepted into, and trained at, the United States Army Officer Candidate School in Fort Benning, GA.

Scott Flanigan proudly served in the 2nd and 4th infantry divisions in the United States Army as an infantry officer, leading an infantry platoon into Baghdad during “the surge” in 2006-2007.

He continues to serve his country today.
